Areekkal Water Falls is small waterfalls. 35 kilometers away from the main city on the Ernakulam – Thodupuzha road. One can reach Areekkal falls within one hour travel from kochi main city.

It’s one of the best places in Kerala and a one day outing trip with family. And the main highlight of the falls Is that you can bath here its not so risky (but be careful). Mainly it’s beautiful on monsoon season in Kerala.

Snacks items coffee, tea, juices are available you can enjoy the waterfalls with a hot cup of tea or coffee (my suggestion)

The fees for one is 20rs as per now. A small one day trip.
