This bird 🐦sanctuary covers an area of barely 25 km sq. This amazing eco friendly bird sanctuary is situated just 12km from Kothmangalam (Kerala). It was first bird sanctuary in Kerala. Ones one of the birt ornithologist Salim Ali told that this sanctuary has the richest bird habitat on peninsular India. Evergreen  forest the longest river in Kerala Periyar River flows through near it. You can walk through the forest. People who like bird watching can also go there. There is also a lot more to see.
