Eravikulam National Park is situated in  western ghats range in idukki district. Its the first national park in kerala. If you visit this place you will surely like it its full of grasslands. Twenty six species of mammals have been recorded in the park including the largest surviving population of Nilgiri Tahr. And other animals like different types of monkeys,leopards,wils dog,sambar deer,elephants and many others. There is also 132 species of birds 🐦 in this park. There is also a new bright reddish-orange-coloured frog with multiple glands and extremely short limbs has been discovered in the park.
